Week 2, Term 1 2024
Principal Pen
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope this message finds you well. I want to express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for contributing to a wonderful start to the year 2024. It has been truly heartening to witness the enthusiasm with which our students have returned to school, embracing their learning routines, and showcasing a sense of pride in our new school shirts.
I encourage all parents to continue partnering with the school to ensure that our students take pride in their uniform and adhere to the school's uniform policy. A neat and uniform appearance not only reflects our commitment to discipline but also fosters a sense of unity within the school community.
As we embark on this year, I am excited to share that it holds special significance for our school as we celebrate our centenary! The centenary celebrations are scheduled for June, and I invite each and every one of you to participate in the festivities. It promises to be a memorable occasion, and your involvement will add to the joy and spirit of this milestone event.
Join me in extending a warm welcome to the new members of our teaching staff: Miss Josie Craig (Year 2A), Mr. Dominic Pilon (Year 4A), Miss Jesse Zevenbergen (Year 5A), and Miss Madison Mikletic (Year 6A). Additionally, a hearty welcome to Mr. Nick Pecchiar, who has taken on the role of Deputy Principal (Years 3-6). We are thrilled to have such dedicated professionals joining our school community.
Our annual implementation plan is now ready to be shared with the school community. The primary focus areas this year include maximizing student engagement and wellbeing through a reduction in behaviour incidents and improvements in the core subject of English. Your support and involvement in these initiatives are crucial to the success of our students, and I look forward to working collaboratively to achieve these goals.
I also look forward to seeing more parents actively engage with the school as the year progresses. Your involvement and partnership in your child's education are invaluable. It is through this collaboration that we can ensure the best outcomes for our students.
Thank you once again for your continued support, and let us make the centenary year a remarkable and memorable one for our school.
Kind regards
Thomas Frankling
